Getting started as an owner
Welcome to Basecamp. This is where your team communicates, organizes work, shares progress, and keeps decisions in one place. Use Basecamp to plan projects, track tasks, reduce meetings, and ship great work.
This guide will get you up and running with Basecamp in just a few steps.

Once you’re signed into your new account:
- Bookmark the Basecamp login page in your browser so it’s easy to return later
- Or download the app
Get oriented in a project
When you create a new account, take the ~3-minute onboarding tour.
If you decide to skip it, open and explore the built-in "Getting Started" project. Level up by completing the to-dos in the “Learning the Basics” To-do list tool.
There's also a sample project called "Making a Podcast" that showcases how we use Basecamp to make a podcast called REWORK.
