Reports
Basecamp’s built-in Reports give you a high-level view of work across your projects. Track progress, review activity, and spot what needs attention.
Open Reports from the Basecamp menu, your Home screen, or press 3 from anywhere in Basecamp.
Available reports
- Lineup - See what’s in play across your projects over past and upcoming weeks, including milestones and deadlines.
- Mission Control - See Needle updates across your projects, including current status and recent movement.
- Hilltop View - See Hill Charts across your projects in one place.
- Upcoming assignments - See work that's due in the upcoming days or weeks.
- Overdue to-dos - See overdue tasks grouped by how overdue they are.
- Unassigned work - See unassigned to-dos and cards across projects.
- Tasks added/completed - Track tasks being created and completed over time, filtered by to-dos, cards, and date.
- Someone’s activity - See messages, comments, and updates from a specific person across projects.
- Someone’s assignments - See all work assigned to a specific person across projects.
- Timesheets - Review time entries across projects by person, project, and date range.
📝 NOTE: Some reports, like Lineup, Hilltop View, and Timesheets, are only visible to your team and won’t appear for clients.
