My Assignments
My Assignments is your personal view of everything assigned to you across all projects — to-dos and cards, from every project you're on, in one place. Three tabs cover the full picture: My assignments groups everything by project, My assignments with dates shows only dated tasks sorted chronologically, and Stuff I've assigned tracks what you've handed off to others so you can follow up without hunting through individual projects.

Getting to My Assignments
Two ways to get there:
- Click My Tasks in the bottom bar on the Home page
- Type "My Assignments" in the search bar

Up Next
By default, My Assignments shows all your open assignments organized by project. When you have a lot on your plate, Up Next lets you pull out the tasks that matter most right now and surface them at the top.
To add a task to Up Next, click the ↑ arrow to the left of any to-do or card. To remove it, click the ↓ arrow.
You can also drag and drop items within Up Next to set the order you want to work through them.

When you have items in Up Next, the My Tasks panel on the Home page shows those items instead of your upcoming due dates — giving you a quick view of your priorities right from Home.
🗒️ NOTE: Up Next is only visible to you. Anyone else viewing your assignments will still see your tasks organized by project.
Weekly assignments email
Every Monday morning, Basecamp emails you a summary of all your open assignments — what's Up Next, what's overdue, what's due this week, and everything else on your plate.
To turn it off, click Emailing assignments every Monday in the top right corner of the Your assignments page. Click it again to turn it back on. You can also unsubscribe directly from the link at the bottom of any weekly email.
