Working with multiple Client companies in one Project

Basecamp projects support one client company name at a time. If you need to bring clients from different organizations into a single project, choose a neutral name that covers everyone, something like "All Vendors" or "Partners."

Clients already in your account keep their original company name when added to the project. In the example below, Allen and Matt are still listed under "Retailored" and Harper is still listed under "Harper's Harps," even though the project uses "All Vendors" as the client company name.

Clients new to your account will be assigned the neutral company name when invited through this project.

Both are adjustable after the fact. To update a client's company name from the project, click the ••• menu to the right of their name and choose "Edit Info." You can also update it in Adminland under Manage People.
